Offered everyday from 10am, our immersive tours open to both hotel guests and day visitors. You’ll meet our friendly donkeys (Jake & Milo) and goats (Pringle & Wotsit), take them for a walk, help groom our gentle ponies & meet our Highland cow, Donald. Children and adults alike delight in collecting fresh eggs from our hens. Each day offers something different here on the farm, get ready to get stuck in on the fun.

Life at Mhor Farm Tour

We gather at 10:30am , for an 11am start, on the terrace at Monachyle Mhor overlooking Lochs Voil and Doine, with oysters and Champagne. We walk a mile along the glen road to the fairy pools, with more delicious food and drink pairings. From there we walk to the Monachyle lifting stone, the original expression of strength since the 1700’s and where couples choose to get married. We head to the bottom meadow to our mirrored box, listed in Conde Nast Traveller as one of the 10 best views in the world. You’ll sip, indulge and drink in the breath-taking views. And if you’d like to make a weekend of it, book one of our luxurious hotel rooms and enjoy a romantic evening meal.

What a lovely I had with my daughter, crafting beautiful baubles, wreaths wire stars and learning the art of wabi sabi wrapping .  The food was delicious from start to finish with a welcoming glass of bubbly, delicious creamy porridge topped to your liking . An amazing soup and a delicious toasty served with a beautiful glass of red and then our day ended with a hot toddy and a choice of cakes.... What a fab day doing exactly what I enjoy. Spending time with my lovely daughter crafting and eating delicious food .... Go you won't regret it xx

Monachyle Mhor hotel and restaurant sits in its own 2,000-acre estate, overlooking Lochs Voil and Doine. The family moved here in 1983, when Tom, Dick and Melanie’s parents bought the hill farm, signing on the back of a cigarette packet to clinch the deal. Rob farmed sheep and cattle, while Jean offered B&B in the farmhouse, and the business and farm evolved from there.
